Call Me "Hero"
My invisible cape
and gorgeous dimple chin,
artificial courage,
that so called, "lies within".
I rise up from the rest
even when I know the truth.
I am no savior,
a meer impersonator
trying not to let you down
so I warn you,
if I let you down
only know you are
your own "Hero",
only you can save YOU.

Creator
I wish I was a writer
to be of moon and sun
of dragons and his slayer.
Of great the challenge,
to discover the magic called:
"Creation"
-Else D.
Midnight Dreamer
I am of the mystery
with your thoughts and fears,
the one who takes you away.
Fantasies, so good and bad.
When light comes I am gone,
my name is Midnight Dreamer.
-Else D.
I Am Only
The only out of everything
my unique glory of the sun and stars.
The wishes of the broken,
the pieces come and form
that special something
the one called "I Am Only"
-Else D.
Who Are We? Else D.
Hope, sparks like a flame
Courage, rises to the sky
Joy follows the sparkling stars
and I myself-
watch from far, far, away.
Wish I Was
So swift and smooth
like a river of the words
the beauty and the truth,
beneath the lines of rhythm.
How I wish I could create-
the magic,
of a poem as a poet.

Rolling Away Time
All around, I look
frozen time of winter
my heart beats,
my ears hear,
but I am not listening,
or seeing.
I'm stuck in a dream.
A memory.

Deep Inside
Her tail wags
her teeth grind
she hears a bird
and growls
but deep inside
she's only a babe
lonesome of a mother.
-Else D.
What's Out There
No, I never like to admit it
I want to hide all day,
never to grow older
and never walk away.
Stop, I say, let time freeze.
But I don't because of IT,
that moment when we reveal,
when we truly know,
the cycle must continue.
-Else D.
From My Branches
If I were a willow
of beauty and grace
you would come to me
and share my quiet place.
Presently,
we stand on crowded branches
and when we fall
so will all
the harmony forgotten.
So stand tall
and make your tree
and shelter the unready
I am not enough
for everyone to grow
from thy branches.
-Else D.
Unexpected
Through shadow and shine
of all once mine
there comes an unexpected.
Unique, but unperfected
she listens and she learns
never questions, never second guesses.
Until one day,
she speaks one word.
The weight is lifted.
she disappears into the night,
never known again.
we never listen or learn,
never unique always a follower.
She looks upon
a big disaster
she shakes her head of disappointment
we never pay attention
to the unexpected.
For every soul secretly
carries the silent word-
only spoken once,
"Enough".
